Anyone can fill a crack. The reason people call me back is that afterwards you cannot find the repair — I mix your color on your wall, in your daylight, until it stops showing.

01 · What opened the wall

Cracks, hail, woodpeckers, water.

Stucco does not ask for much — until it does. When a wall opens up, something caused it. We find that first and fix it, because a patch over a live problem just moves the problem.

Cracks

Hairline or wide open, a crack means something moved. We open it up, find out what moved, and deal with that before the patch goes on.

Hail

Hail chips the finish coat and lets water in behind it. It looks like a cosmetic problem for about a season, and then it isn’t one.

Woodpeckers

They drill through the finish looking for insects and leave holes straight into the wall. We fill them, re-texture, and bring the face back in.

Water & bad installs

Water getting in behind the wall, and stucco that went on wrong the first time, are the two that keep spreading. Both need the wall opened, not painted over.

The match is the job.

I worked out my own way of matching on site. I mix against your wall, outside, in the light it actually lives in — not off a fan deck in the truck. It takes trips back and it takes trials. That is why it works.

01I come out and look at the wall, in the light it sits in.
02Mixes go up on your wall, not on a sample card.
03We let them dry down. Wet plaster lies about its color.
04Adjust, draw down again, and keep going until one of them disappears.
05Then the repair goes on, and the texture gets worked to match the face.

The honest version

Any repair or patch may still show, no matter how accurate the color match. That is true of every stucco wall that has weathered, and I would rather you heard it from me than found it out. When it has to be invisible, the answer is to re-skim the whole face instead of the spot, so there is no aged surface left beside it to compare against. I price it both ways and you pick.

03 · Two different walls

Hard-coat and EIFS.

They look similar from the driveway and they are nothing alike behind the finish. I install and repair both, so I have no reason to talk you into either one.

System A

Traditional hard-coat

Cement-based render built up in coats over lath. Hard, heavy, and repairable in place — you can cut a section out and bring it back without touching the rest of the wall.

System B

EIFS — synthetic

An insulated board system under a thin, flexible finish coat. Lighter, warmer, and a completely different repair — the mesh and the base coat have to be brought back too, or the patch fails again.

They are not interchangeable. Show me a photo, or let me come look, and I will tell you straight which one is on your house and what it actually needs.

04 · The face of the wall

Texture is a choice, not a default.

Texture changes how a wall reads more than color does. A coarse face holds shadow and forgives a lot; a fine one shows every pass of the trowel. We bring samples out to the house and pick one on purpose, against your own light.

On a real wall

That is a wall of ours in low afternoon sun, and you can read every trowel pass across it. Stand there at midday and you would hardly see the texture at all. It is why we hold samples up outside, on the house, instead of choosing off a board in the truck.

The work.

Every photo here is a real job of ours — ours or a customer’s camera, nothing bought in. Some of them are mid-job on purpose, because that is what most of the week actually looks like.

Straight answers.

Can you match the color of my existing stucco?

Yes — that is the part of the job we are known for. We match on-site, against your wall, in daylight. We will also tell you straight: any repair or patch may still show, no matter how close the match. If it has to be invisible, we skim the wall corner to corner so the whole face reads as one surface.

Do you repair hail, woodpecker and water damage?

Yes. Cracks, hail damage, woodpecker holes, water penetration and failures from improper installation are the bulk of what we do. We find what actually caused the damage and fix that, not just the surface.

What is the difference between traditional and EIFS stucco?

Traditional hard-coat stucco is a cement-based render. EIFS, or synthetic stucco, is an insulated system with a thinner finish coat. Both have their place. I install and repair both, and I will tell you which one your project actually wants.

Do you take small repairs, or only whole walls?

Both. A single patch is welcome. If you would rather the repair disappear completely, we can skim the whole wall instead — we will price both options so you can choose.
